Summary Foreign Office says that the PM has assigned Shahryar Khan to conduct Track-II diplomacy with India.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - In his weekly news briefing on Friday, Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry said Pakistan is following a policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries but it stresses the values of democracy must always be upheld.
Responding to a question about Egypt, he said Pakistan has been following events in Egypt and hoped that Egyptians will deal with the situation in a democratic manner.
About Afghan Army Chief s accusations that Pakistan controls Taliban‚ the spokesman said Pakistan is sincere in its efforts to see peace and stability in Afghanistan.
He hoped that sincerity of Pakistan will be appreciated and reciprocated and negative statements avoided.

About reports of Indian BSF facilitating militants entering Pakistan‚ the spokesman said the two countries have border management mechanism and contact each other when need arises.
