KARACHI (Dunya News) Four persons including a woman were gunned down in different incidents of violence and firing in Karachi on Friday.
In the same way, a woman sustained injuries in an incident of violence occurred in Bahar Colony.
A disfigured body has been found in the limit of Quaid e Abad police station. According to police, the victim was tortured to death.
In another incident occurred in the area of Garden Hassan Askari Village, Defence Phase-7 Khayaban e Ittehad and Lyari Agra Taj Colony where four persons got hurt in firing incident and rushed to hospital but one of them named Shoaib succumbed to injuries.
Residents of Lyari once again came out of their dwellings while protesting against firing and poor law and order situation.
They offered a stage-in on Maripur Road and blocked the road by torching old tyres.
Women and children were also carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against different incidents of firing and lawlessness.
During this, police and demonstrators confronted each other over the issue of law and order.
On the other hand, having information about existence of miscreant, Rangers conducted a targeted operation and arrested more than 11 people.
It is worthy of note that more than 1500 cops including female officers are taking part in the operation.
