ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif‚ who arrived in Beijing Wednesday on a five-day visit to China‚ was talking to President Exim Bank of China Li Ruogu‚ who called on him in the Chinese capital.
Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan values China s assistance and cooperation in various fields.
He urged the Exim Bank President to provide capital to the Chinese firms interested in executing various development projects in Pakistan.
The Prime Minister assured that his government will provide foolproof security to the Chinese firms engaged in carrying out various projects in the country.
Exim Bank president said the bank has so far invested six billion dollars in Pakistan and will provide more funds for development projects particularly in the energy sector.
Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif‚ Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal‚ and Adviser Tariq Fatmi were also present at the meeting.
