Summary Assembly members demand ex-president should be held responsible for his illegal actions.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News):-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly members have favoured to file treason case against former military general Pervez Musharraf.
Government and the opposition are apparently standing side by side regarding the decision to put the former president Pervez Musharraf on trial.
The same case is with the Khyber Pakhtunkwa of which members are of the view that law should be equal for all.
Despite theoretical differences with the government, the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf has also agreed with the PML-N on its decision to put former president Pervez Musharraf on trial for committing treason with the state.
Qaumi Watan Party is also of the view that Pervez Musharraf violated many other rules and regulations apart from breaching the constitution; so he must be brought to justice in this regard.
