LONDON (Dunya News) – Police have arrested a 52-year-old Pakistani national from Heathrow Airport who is suspected to be part of conspiracy in the murder of MQM leader Dr Imran Farooq.
A British citizen of Pakistani origin was arrested Monday morning at the Heathrow Airport when he returned from Canada.
According to police, at least ten people were involved in the murder of Imran Farooq.
This is first arrest in the murder case of the MQM leader.
Dr Imran Farooq was murdered in London on September 16, 2010. Police had stated that reason behind the murder could be Imran Farooq’s supposed decision of announcing his separate political party.
Metropolitan Police also confirmed that further arrests would be made in the case.
