Summary The Punjab Sindh and KPK budgets for the next financial year will be presented today.

 

LAHORE (Dunya News) Punjab government is likely to present it budget worth Rs 870 billion out of which Rs 275 will be allocated for welfare funds.

 

Government employees’ salaries and pensions would be increased by 10 percent.

 

Punjab will get Rs 721 billion from the federal government while the remaining amount would be collected out of provincial resources.


It has been suggested to invest Rs 33 billion for health while Rs 21 billion are likely to be invested in education sector.
Rs 77 billion are likely to be given to police while a four billion would be allocated for laptops.


The limit of small loans has been increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 0.1million.


Danish School project would also be continued for uplift of children of far flung areas.


Special arrangements would also be made for provision of solar energy system to tubewells.


About Rs 13 billion are likely to be allocated in order to overcome energy crisis.


Comprehensive strategy has also been carved out to complete small projects of hydel power.


It is regrettable to say that tractor scheme has been suggested to stop.
