Summary At least 11 people were killed in separate incidents of violence in the city on Sunday.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Three officials of PIB Police Station including Iqbal, Amir and Amjad were killed when four unidentified persons opened firing on a police van in Para Patel area while the target killers managed to flee from the scene.


Four people were killed in firing, torture and hand grenade attacks in Lyari. The victims included seven-year-old Amna, three men namely Sajid, Zahid and Faqira Jan.


A mutilated dead body was found near Kishti Chowk in limits of Garden Police Station.


According to police the victim was killed after being kidnapped by unknown persons. Another dead body was also found from the same area that was shifted to Civil Hospital.


Meanwhile, 17 people were injured in different incidents of firing in Lyari while residents of the area were left barricaded in their homes due to fear.


In another incident, a man was shot dead and three others were injured in Hussain Hazara Goth area in Gulistan-e-Johar.


A mutilated dead body of a woman was found near Altaf Nagar Korangi crossing but the victim could not be identified.
