LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has convened a high-level session over the recent casualties caused by measles in the province.
According to report, two more children succumbed to measles today. The deceased include one-year-old minor girl from Hafizabad and 10-year-old Ali who belonged to Toba Tek Singh.
Meanwhile, 195 new cases have been reported during the last 24 hours, rising the number of affectees to 16,419. The overall death toll in the Punjab province has also mounted to 144.
Out of 144, 19 cases have been reported from Lahore.
