Summary The security forces launched operation against the militants in Kharotabad area early this morning.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least two militants were killed in clash with the security forces in Quetta on Thursday.
As per details, the operation took place in Kharotabad area after armed militants attacked policemen at around 3:00am and fled from the scene.
Later, security forces launched a joint operation in the area.
Both sides exchanged heavy firing whereas militants tossed hand grenades at the security personnel, injuring at least 16.
According to DIG investigation Syed Ahmed Mubeen, two suicide bombers blew themselves up when security surrounded them.
The injured security officials were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
