Summary The disease of measles apparently is becoming out of control despite tall claims of the government.
LAHORE, MULTAN (Dunya News):-Two more children died of measles in different localities in the province on Tuesday.
Eight-month-old Arman was being treated in Children Hospital Lahore while Momina was under treatment in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. Both of them were referred to hospitals for better treatment but unluckily they could not survive.
Arman hailed from Gujranwala while Momina was resident of Lahore.
Death toll of measles patients has risen to 139 across Punjab.
According to sources, at least 246 new cases of this disease came on surface while as a whole approximately 15, 762 patients have suffered from this fatal disease which has claimed lives of more than one hundred people across the Punjab.
Apart from, a large number of patients in Multan have suffered from gastro disease.
Doctors are of the view aht they are trying their best in order overcome this disease while on the other hand, parents of children are of the opinion that negligence of doctors is the main reason for death of their children.
