ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In a statement Monday, JUI-F chief Moulana Fazlur Rehman said environment was not favourable for peace talks with the Taliban.


He said Pakistanis establishment was not interested in the dialogue.


“After the withdrawal of talks offer by the Taliban it has become difficult to reinitiate the process,” he said.


Fazl said he had not been contacted by the either side in this connection.


“Peace process is a serious issue but it is being handled in a non-serious way,” he said, adding media reports about possible talks with Taliban were baseless.
