Summary Secretary Health has been ordered to present in the court on June 17 in contempt case.
LAHORE (Dunya News):-The Lahore High Court has issued contempt of court notice to the Secretary Health as he reportedly disobeyed the court order regarding regularization of 20 pharmacists.
According to sources, when LHC Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial resumed hearing of the case, the petitioner’s lawyer was of the view that Secretary Health did not regularize 20 pharmacists despite the court had issued order in this regard.
He also prayed to the court that legal action should be taken against the Secretary Health for violation of rules and regulation.
Chief Justice while passing his remarks said that the court would not like to put anybody behind bars; so it is better to follow the court orders in their true spirit.
The secretary health also has been issued notice with the direction to present in the court on June 17.
