Summary PPP’s Qaim Ali Shah secured 86 votes while MQM’s Syed Sardar Sahah bagged 48 votes and remained 2nd.

 

KARACHI: (Dunyanews) Pakistan Peoples Party leader Syed Qaim Ali Shah has been elected as Chief Minister of Sindh province for the third time by securing 86 votes.

 

MQM candidate for CM slot Syed Sardar Ahmed bagged 48 votes and remained second while Imtiaz Sheikh of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional secured 18 votes.

 

Talking to media, Qaim Ali Shah said that he would not disappoint the people.

 

PPP leaders Agha Siraj Durrani and Shehla Raza were elected as the speaker and deputy speaker of the Sindh Assembly with an overwhelming majority.
