Summary Lawyers in Balochistan are protesting the kidnapping of former provincial advocate general.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – Balochistan Bar Association has given a 20-day ultimatum to the government for recovery of former provincial advocate general Mir Salahuddin Mengal.
If the authorities failed, lawyers would boycott courts and no case will be heard at Balochistan High Court or any other lower court, the association said.
Unidentified gunmen abducted Mengal along with his younger brother on April 3 from Sariyab Road when he was returning home from high court.
The kidnappers have put Rs 20 million ransom on his head.
