QUETTA (dunya News - The death toll in suicide blast outside the residence of IG Police Mushtaq Sukhera has reached seven. At least 40 other people were also wounded in the incident.
The blast occurred when a protest sit-in by BNP-Mengal was being held against election results outside press club at Hali Road.
Police said rockets were also fired in different areas of the city.
According to Dunya News electric supply was suspended after the blast and most areas of the city plunged into darkness.
The windowpanes of the nearby buildings were broken due to the blast.
The nearby government buildings were also slightly damaged.
