Quetta (Dunya News) - A suicide bomb killed at least four people and injured more than 40 others near the residence of IG police Mushtak Sukhera when a protest sit-in by BNP-Mengal was being held against election results outside press club at Hali Road.
Police said rockets were also fired in different areas of the city.
According to Dunya News electric supply was suspended after the blast and most areas of the city plunged into darkness.
The windowpanes of the nearby buildings were broken due to the blast.
The nearby government buildings were also slightly damaged.
