Summary Law enforcement agencies could not recover the son of ex-prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.
MULTAN (Dunya News):-Ali Haider Gilani, the candidate from PP 200, was abducted yesterday from the area of Mati Till when he came out of PPP worker Hussain Nawaz Baloch’s home after attending a corner meeting regarding election campaign.
According to eyewitness, unidentified armed men in a black colour car opened indiscriminate firing on him, killing his guard and personal secretary Muhayyuddin on the spot. Five others also sustained severe injuries while armed men succeeded in kidnapping their main target Ali Hyder Gilani.
Having come to know about tragic incident, Ali Musa Gilani and Abdul Qadir Gilani, real brothers of the victim, reached the site of occurrence and started mourning, with the warning that they would not allow to hold elections on May 11 if their brother was not recovered.
