Summary PML-Q used development funds throughout Punjab without any discrimination.

GUJRAT (Web Desk) - Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leader Chaudhary Parvez Elahi has said that only cycle of performance and development will run on May 11.

He was addressing a public meeting  here on Monday, he said as the Chief Minister he had flooded the backward areas of Punjab with development funds, provided gas, electricity and potable water and constructed sewerage and roads in the villages, established new schools, colleges and universities besides upgrading hospitals and schools, our tenure was ideal in every respect.

“Our political motto is serving the poor and common man, our opponents also admit our grand performance and service to the people during our tenure as the Chief Minister in Punjab”, he added.

He said that provision of free education, free textbooks, launching of 1122, establishing Patrolling Posts and abolishing tax on small houses and twelve and half acres of land are great examples of our service to the people all over the province without any discrimination.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that this had also happened for the first time in the history that any Chief Minister left Rs 100 billion surplus in the provincial exchequer whereas Shahbaz Sharif left the province under heavy debt.

He said like Gujrat University, an engineering university will not only be established here but wherever needed in the country universities will be set up where genuine degree will be given and such education and other facilities will be provided in the far flung areas that residents of those areas do not have to go to the big cities for these facilities.
