Summary Measles outbreak has claimed more than 50 lives.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Two more children died of measles in Lahore on Tuesday.
An eight-month old child named Aurangzeb gave up to the outbreak at Children’s Hospital of the provincial capital. The deceased belonged to the Chungi Amar Sidhu area of the city.
A two-year old child identified as Ahmed from Pattoki also passed away at Children s Hospital.
On the other hand, the provincial health department has launched a special vaccination campaign in Lahore.
Around 3 million children between age of six months and ten years will be vaccinated during the campaign.
