ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain telephoned President Asif Ali Zardrai and discussed prevailing situation in the country with specific reference to the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi.
Altaf Hussain also apprised President Zardari about the terrorist attacks on MQM, ANP and PPP workers and the problems these parties were facing to run election campaigns.
President Zardari expressed grief over killings of MQM, ANO and PPP workers in recent attacks. He also assured to play his role to halt such occurrences. Both the leaders agreed to further enhance contacts in future.
