Summary Says energy crisis can to overcome by ending circular debt and stopping power pilferage.
LAHORE: In a special interview with the Dunya News former CM Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif said PML-N has envisaged a detailed plan to end loadshedding in the country.
He said loadshedding can be reduced significantly by overcoming circular debt of Rs 500 billion and stopping electricity theft.
“25 percent of electricity is stolen in the country,” he said.
Shahbaz said Punjab government established many hospitals in the province and provided latest medical equipment to the hospitals.
He pledged that PML-N will introduce health insurance scheme for the poor after coming to power.
When asked about the latest wave of terrorism in the three provinces, Shahabaz said it was condemnable, and it was the responsibility of the caretaker government to take steps to stop it.
He reiterated his stance that Punjab met a discriminatory treatment in the distribution of electricity.
He complained that bureaucracy was reshuffled only in Punjab, and no changes were made in the other provinces.
He rejected the criticism that funds were wasted in the Metro Bus Service, saying decent travelling facilities was the right of common people also.
PML-N would bring prosperity to the people of Pakistan, Shabaz promised.
