Summary A writ petition has been filed in the SC Registry Lahore to investigate the tragic incident by FIA.
The petitioner Sarfarz Hussain moved a writ petition in the Supreme Court Registry and requested the apex to form a high level medical board for treatment of Indian spy Sarabjit Singh who was severely tortured by prisoners in Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The petitioner also requested the court that the case should be referred to the FIA for further inquiry and all the officials involved in torture should be brought to justice without any discrimination.
It has also been appealed to the court that Sarabjit Singh’s imprisonment should be revoked and the medical board may be sent along with the victim to abroad for treatment.
