Summary Kot Lakhpat Police registered a case against two prisoners under the offence of attempt to murder.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The FIR was lodged on report by Superintendent Kot Lakhpat Jail, Farooq Ishtiaq against two prisoners under the offence of attempt to murder Sarabjit.
It was alleged it he FIR that the two prisoners, Mudassar and Amir, attacked Sarabjit Singh in front of Barrack No 7 when he was brought for a walk according to the schedule.
Two jail officials, Safdar and Ahsan tried to protect Sarabjit Singh but the attackers also tortured them.
Police have registered a case under sections 324/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code against Amir and Mudassar and started investigation.
