Summary The Supreme Court has directed Islamabad High Court to stop hearing of Pervez Musharraf case.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):-The Inspector General Islamabad had challenged the judgment of Islamabad High Court regarding Musharraf escape case in the Supreme Court.
Justice Jawad conducted hearing of the appeal filed by IG Islamabad Bin Yamin in Pervez Musharraf escape case and said that the Islamabad High Court should be informed that the aforesaid case is being heard in the Supreme Court.
The justice also ordered that the report regarding legal action against the IG should also be submitted in the Supreme Court.
According to Dunya News, the apex court has dictated the written order in order to inform the Islamabad High Court.
The hearing of this case would be made today after noon.
Three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Jawad S Khwaja would resume hearing of the aforesaid case.
It is worthy of note that the Islamabad High Court had ordered to take legal action against the IG regarding Pervez Musharraf case within 24 hours and submit the report.
