Summary Musharraf’s counsel says his client did not indulged in any act of treason.
ISLAMABAD (Online): Ahmad Raza Kasuri, counsel for former President Pervez Musharraf, has said full bench be constituted minus CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in high treason case against Pervez Musharraf.
Talking to media men Monday he said Musharraf had not indulged in any act of treason in the perspective of constitution.
“If any harm is caused to Musharraf, the Pandora’s box will open at such magnitude that it will take years upon years to shut it.”
“Musharraf is benefactor of the nation and meting out such treatment with the benefactor of nation is unacceptable,” he held.
“Administration was not allowing us to meet Musharraf despite the fact we had told them that we have come here to meet him with the permission of Supreme Court and court has adjourned the hearing of the case till 1130 hrs,” he stated.
