LAHORE (Dunya News) – The measles epidemic has claimed another life of a minor girl, rising the overall death toll to fifty one in the Punjab province.
The deceased has been identified as Fatima, 3, who was undergoing treatment at Children Hospital of Lahore. She belonged to Vehari.
The international organization Gavi has assured Punjab government of full support in controlling the spread of the epidemic.
The organization will not only provide funds but will also technically assist the team of doctors to curb the epidemic.
