Summary Gas shortfall reached 700mmcfd on Friday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Gas supply to industries and CNG stations in Punjab remained suspended for fifth consecutive day on Friday.
On Wednesday, two gas pipelines were blown up in Balochistan causing suspension of gas supply to different areas in Punjab including Lahore.
Later on Thursday night, some unknown miscreants blew up Guddu Kashmore gas pipeline, further increasing the gas shortfall to 700 mmcfd.
Resultantly, gas supply to Punjab industries and CNG stations could not be restored.
According to SNGPL, gas supply will resume after repair work is done.
