Summary PML-F president has demanded extension in the election date for thorough scrutiny of candidates.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) - President PML-Functional Pir Sibghat Ullah Rashidi following suite of Altaf Hussain also demanded extension in election time and argued that Election Commission of Pakistan was given short span of time for scrutiny.


Addressing a press conference along with Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Shah Mehmood Qureshi here on Saturday said that instead of questioning the number of wives and sister in laws, Returning Officers should capture the thieves in Sindh who have looted the national wealth.


Pagara said that money and stick would be used in Sindh during the general elections.


“PPP government is still in power in Sindh. Chief Secretary was changed in Punjab, but no such step was taken in Sindh,” he said.


“We will support Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Sindh. I believe in federation,” he said.


While, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that gathering on death anniversary of Bhutto was held first time in the history, PPP is sleeping in Garhi Khuda Bux, only Zardari League has been left, Qureshi added.


Answering a query about any possible delay in elections, Vice President of PTI mentioned that Chief Justice of Pakistan has already said that any unconstitutional step would not be tolerated and constitution is very clear so it must be followed.
