Summary President Asif Ali Zardari has said that the PPP has strengthened democracy in the country.
NAUDERO (Dunya News) – Speaking on the occasion of 34th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, President Asif Ali Zardari said that his party’s five-year rule has strengthened democracy in the country despites facing many difficulties.
He said that it is up to people now to freely and fearlessly choose their representatives in the forthcoming general elections.
Zardari said that we have put the country on the right track and today democracy stands strong. He further said that he preferred to write history instead of remaining in media headlines.
Later, a two-minute silence was observed which was followed by prayers for the departed soul of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
