He said, "It is very heartening to see that Supreme Court and Election Commission are taking stern action against fake degree holders but the irony is that the dictator who violated the constitution is freely roaming in the country.
“If no action is taken against him then it would be like taking punitive action against corruption of lower functionaries and turning blind eye to corruption of big shots” said Iqbal.
Supreme Court has already given historic verdict on 3 November, 07 emergencies imposed by General Musharaf and declared it an extra constitutional act.
PPP government didn t proceed against General Musharaf due to NRO arrangement. Now the nation expects that the judiciary will take suo moto action against dictator who played havoc with constitution, judiciary, media, and Parliament.
He said, "Conspiracies to bring back Zardari government by dividing PMLN votes will be defeated by the people of Pakistan. PMLN programme for a strong economy has been declared as best economic programme and PMLN economic team is most competent and credible.
“The people must give clear majority to PMLN so that economic reforms can be implemented with blackmailing of coalition politics", concluded PML-N senior leader.
