Summary ECP secretary says members of Election Commission will meet again on Sunday to decide caretaker PM.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The first session of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), chaired by chief election commissioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, has ended inconclusively.

 

The meeting of Pakistan Election Commission to take a decsion on caretaker PM Saturday ended inconclusive.

 

The members will meet again on Sunday and deliberate over the caretaker prime minister.  

Addressing. the media, the ECP secretary said that no decision has been taken as yet.

 

He said an announcement about  the name of caretaker PM will be made tomorrow (Sunday) .

 

Referring to the Sindh member, he said Roshan Esani will reach Islamabad by 7pm  Saturday. 

 

He said the session was called in after the commission received a letter from parliamentary committee to select the name of caretaker PM.
