Summary CES of the UK has declared A-level certificate of ex federal minister as fake.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former federal minister Sheikh Waqas Akram, who recently joined PML-N, had claimed at the floor of the National Assembly that he had passed the A-Level exam in 1995 and his certificate was verified by Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

However, the assistant secretary of IBCC denies having signed the certificate.

On the other hand, chief executive of the Cambridge Education System (CES) Ann Punits confirmed that Waqas Akram’s certificate could not be verified from the CES record.

Earlier, the former federal minister had also submitted an affidavit in the Lahore High Court in which he claimed that his certificate was genuine.

Questions are also being raised about the Bachelor’s (BA) degree of Sheikh Waqas Akram after the proof of his fake A-Level certificate.
