Summary PPP and PML-Q have finalized two names for the office of caretaker Punjab chief minister.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) have finalised names of former Chief Secretary Hafeez Akhtar Randhawa and Justice (retd) Syed Zahid Hussain for the office of caretaker Punjab chief minister.
A meeting of PPP and PML-Q leadership in this regard was held at the residence of Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Saturday evening. Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo led the six-member delegation of the PPP while the PML-Q delegation was led by Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
The meeting also discussed seat adjustment between the two parties for the upcoming election. Talking to media after the meeting both the leaders demanded of the Election Commission to change the entire bureaucracy in the province to ensure transparent election.
