ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Soon after the Opposition expressed reservations over government nominees, the latter has also rejected the opposition-proposed names for the caretaker premier.

Rejecting the name of Nasir Aslam Zahid, Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said that he (Nasir Aslam) will not be able to do justice with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), adding that he is the brother-in-law of Justice Nizam, whose murder case was filed against President Zardari.

Referring to the other proposed name of Rasool Buksh Palijo, Kaira said his son, Ayaz Palijo, is contesting in elections against PPP.

Kaira said he was hopeful that a consensus would be reached during the ongoing meeting of PM Raja with chief ministers over the matter of interim setup.
