Summary President persuaded Aslam Raisani to resign and dissolve the provincial assembly.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani called on President Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Friday.
During the meeting, Zardari convinced Raisani to resign and dissolve the provincial assembly along with the National Assembly. The president urged Raisani not to affect the national consensus regarding holding of general elections on single day.
The president asked the chief minister to resign as soon as possible or send an advice to Balochistan Governor to dissolve the provincial assembly along with National Assembly.
