Summary Yousuf Raza Gilani appeared before three-member bench of the Supreme Court today.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Wednesday gave 7 days time to former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to re-submit his review petition against his disqualification by a seven member bench of the Supreme Court.
The former premier appeared before a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.
The Chief Justice told Gilani that as per the rules and procedures‚ his review petition will be heard by a 7-member bench which had convicted him.
Later talking to media‚ Yusuf Raza Gilani said it was his own decision to file a review petition first.
Replying to a question‚ he said decision of not writing the letter to Swiss Authorities was made in the capacity of Prime Minister. He said what he did was in accordance to the rules and procedures.
