Summary Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami condemns torching of Christian homes in Badami Bagh Lahore.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a joint press conference with the representatives of Christian organizations on Monday, Prof Munawwar Hassan condemned the Badami Bagh incident.
“Torching of homes of Christians was unfortunate and highly regrettable,” he said.
He said there was no conflict between Muslims and Christians or Shias and Sunnis in the country.
To a question the JI Ameer said there was possibility of entering into electoral alliance with other political parties.
Speaking on the occasion, Bishop Nazir Alam said Christians and Muslims live in Pakistan like brothers, and they would foil conspiracies to create bad blood between them.
