LAHORE (Dunya News) - Talking to media at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Sunday, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that headquarter of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi was based in Punjab and the arms and ammunition were being supplied from here.

He said that he had been urging the Punjab government for last three years to take action against the terrorists.

Responding to a question regarding All Parties Conference, Malik said that two banned outfits also participated in the APC, adding it would have been better to invite the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP).

Malik challenged Shahbaz Sharif for a debate over the issue. He said the terrorism could be rooted out from the country, if the Punjab government cooperates.

He said that the government has been engaged in dialogue with the MQM for in the best interest of the country and give and take on certain issues was part of the politics.
