LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief of Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has said that alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was out of question.

Talking to newsmen after a meeting with Nawab of Bahawalpur Salahuddin Abbasi Saturday Shujaat said that elections were round the corner and to speak of a political alliance at this point was useless.

“An alliance with PML-N is impossible”, he said.

Chaudhry Shujaat said unification of Muslim leagues could not take place due to the stubbornness of one individual.

Speaking on the occasion Pervez Elahi said that PML-N was consulting other political parties for seat-adjustments.

“A lot of things will become clear after the assemblies are dissolved,” he said.

The Nawab of Bahawalpur Salahuddin Abbasi said Bahawalpur National Awami Party will make electoral alliance with PML-Q in general elections.

Abbasi said that Benazir Bhutto had told him that she would free the province of Bahawalpur as soon as she assumed office.
