ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The electricity supply that was cut off late Sunday night due to a major breakdown‚ has been restored in all parts of the country, Radio Pakistan reported.
A spokesman of the Ministry of Water and Power confirmed that the technical fault developed at Hubco Power Plant has been fixed and all the grid stations are now functional.
He said there is a shortfall of 2,300 megawatts in the system. The power generation capacity is now 7‚ 200 megawatts while the demand is 9‚500 megawatts.
