Summary Second bill regarding amendment in anti terrorism laws has been tabled in the National Assembly.


ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):- According to Anti terrorism amendment bill 2013, party workers of banned outfits would not be able to travel out of the country. Their arms licenses would also be cancelled according to the text of the aforesaid bill.


It has also been recommended in the Anti terrorism amendment bill that banned outfits would neither be issued loan not would they be able to sustain monetary assistance and credit cards in any way.


On the secret information, the government is authorized to issue orders for arrest of the suspected person for 90 days.
It is worthy of note that the arrest of the accused would not be challenged in any court.


In case of violation to any section of the aforesaid bill, the abuser may get two years imprisonment, heavy fine or both.
According to the amended bill, the property and bank accounts of the violators may also be seized.


Apart from this, their video cassettes and FM radio stations would also be banned if anyone falls in categories of violation.


The federal government would also be authorized to tape phone calls and messages of the transgressors in order to trace them.


In case of civil war and internal threats, communication system of the country may also be suspended for national security.
