Summary Trend of grenade attacks on markets has terrorized shopkeepers and traders.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Unknown attackers on Saturday tossed a hand grenade in Liaquatabad’s meat market which failed to explode.
The incident took place early morning when attackers hurled the grenade towards market and fled from the scene.
According to witnesses, the attackers also opened fire on several shops, however, none was hurt.
The shopkeepers told media that they are receiving extortion receipt for past few days, thus, this attack could be the result of refusal to pay the extortion.
Later, police arrived at the scene and launched investigation into the incident.
