ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Supreme Court (SC) has expressed its dissatisfaction over the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) report regarding the recent killings in Quetta.
A three-member bench of the apex court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, was hearing the suo motu notice taken in the aftermath of the recent blast in Quetta.
Interior Secretary Khwaja Siddiq Akbar and the defence secretary were present during today’s hearing.
The ISI report was presented by Defence Secretary Asif Yaseen Malik.
Rejecting the ISI report, the bench ordered the officials to re-submit it, stating that the report doesn’t answer the questions raised by the court. .
Earlier on Tuesday, Chief Justice Iftikhar had said that the responsibility for Saturday’s deadly bombing that claimed 87 lives fell on the federal government.
