The business community in Karachi have supported the strike call and all shops and markets will remain closed today. Public transport will also be closed, along with the city’s private schools.
The Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) and other political parties have also supported the strike call.
The MQM’s Rabita Committee said that the terrorists involved in the Quetta attack must be arrested. They have appealed the masses to remain peaceful.
