Summary Insurgents attacked a police station in Bannu on Thursday morning.
BANNU (Dunya News) – Militants launched an attack on Bannu’s Miryan police station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on early Thursday morning, killing at least six militants.
The official sources the militants fired rockets and stormed into the police station which led to an ensuing gun battle between the security forces and the attackers. During the gun battle the security forces killed at least two militants, while four suicide bombers blew themselves up.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and launched search operation.
