LONDON: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Wednesday telephoned MQM chief Altaf Hussain and inquired after his health.
Both the leaders discussed issues regarding care taker setup and law and order in Karachi.
Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has expressed the confidence that a consensus care taker setup will be formed to ensure transparent and free elections.
Altaf Hussain said that it is desire of all political stake holders that general elections should be transparent and free.
The Prime Minister said he will write a letter to leader of the opposition in the National Assembly soon for discussing and finalizing the name of care taker Prime Minister. He said the allied parties will also be taken into confidence on the issue.
Altaf Hussain thanked the PM for inquiring after his health.
