Summary Iranian Speaker has said the entire region is confronted by striking problems.

 

ISLAMABAD:- Dr. Ali Larijani made it clear that designing of nuclear weapons is absolutely against the teachings of Islam and in this regard, Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamnae has opined once and again that Iran has no plan to design atomic weapons as they bring horrible destruction to the humanity.


“Every country should have an access to the atomic technology for creative capabilities”, said Iranian leader, adding that Iran has no plan to manufacture an atomic bomb; rather its mission is to defend the Muslim World.


He made it clear that Iran is undoubtedly conscious about stability and survival of the Muslim countries in the region. So far as its relations with non-Muslim countries are concerned, it would like to keep them stable while following the principle of peaceful co-existence.

 

Iranian Speaker Dr. Ali Larijani has said that Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline is a strategic project and hoped that people of Pakistan has the will to go ahead as it is in their interest.

 

Responding to questions at a news conference in Islamabad on Tuesday evening‚ he said Iran has opened a credit line to help Pakistan build its part of the pipeline as Iranian part is already complete.


He said Iran is rich in oil and gas and wants to benefit the Ummah so that it could develop and progress. Iran is already providing gas to Turkey and it would be a great privilege for Pakistan to receive Iranian gas.

 

He said shiites and Sunnis are brethren and will remain so far ever. He said enemies are sowing seeds of discord among Muslims despite the fact that we believe in one God‚ one Prophet (PBUH) and one Book. He urged all the Muslim countries to demonstrate unity.


Replying to a question‚ Larajani said that Iranian nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes.


He said Iran has no aggressive designs against any country of the region.


Asked whether there was any connection between Iran and North Korea on nuclear issue‚ he said Iran has access to nuclear knowledge and technology and doesn t need any cooperation from countries like North Korea.


About threats of American or Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear installations‚ Larijani said no saner element can think about such a dangerous proposition.

 

Replying to another question he said there should be no military interference in Syria.
