Summary Engineer Showkatullah has been appointed as new governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday.
LAHORE: He would take oath of his office tomorrow on February 10 according to the constitution.
According to sources, President Asif Ali Zardari has appointed the new governor on the advice of Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Engineer Shawkat hails from FATA and he was elected as Member National Assembly from NA 43 in 2008.
He has enjoyed the ministers of sports and states and frontier region.
