Summary PM Raja Pervez Ashraf called on President Zardari at the Bilawal House in Lahore on Friday.
President Asif Ali Zardari reached Lahore from Karachi while Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf reached from Islamabad on Friday.
Both the leaders held a meeting at the newly-constructed Bilawal House located in Bahria Town and discussed the current political situation in the country.
The Prime Minister briefed the President about power situation, law and order situation especially in Karachi and various measures being taken by the Government to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, President Zardari asked the PPP workers to prepare for the upcoming general election. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also present during the meeting.
Earlier, Governor Punjab Makhdom Ahmad Mahmood and PPP Punjab President Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo and other leaders received President Zardari at the Allama Iqbal Airport on his arrival in Lahore.
