KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the provincial assembly’s speaker to issue notification of appointment of opposition leader within ten days, Dunya News reported on Friday.
The court was hearing identical petitions pertaining to the non-issuance of notification.
During the proceeding, the prosecutor apprised the court that the Sindh Assembly s speaker has become the caretaker governor due to which he could sign the appointment. He sought some time from the court.
At this, the court ordered to issue the notification within a period of 10 days and submit a report over it.
